About Me

Hi, I’m Chloe! I have been tutoring for four years now and it is something I am truly passionate about. I enjoy learning about my students just as much as I enjoy helping them succeed. It is important for me to learn how to adapt to the student’s personal learning style so that I can better serve them as we progress together. I do not usually take the traditional testing approach when gauging where a student is with the material they are trying to either learn or brush up on. However, I like to have my students apply the knowledge they’ve learned by completing diagrams and projects, participating in academic conversations, and teaching the information back to me. I find that when one is able to teach an idea, they’ve really understood the idea. I always encourage my students to figure out different ways of understanding an idea because it challenges the student to think critically and analyze fully what they are learning. I also tend to relate the material to the students hobbies or favorites because I find that it really grabs the student’s attention. I would consider myself a great tutor because when I tutor, it’s not just a lecture, it is an experience. Every session I conduct is different because I understand that every student has different needs and they learn at different paces. Student success and growth is of the most importance to me and my adaptability certainly helps me aid students become successful.
