Description

To award students with scholarship money for their creative use of Duck Tape (aka duct tape) in making an outfit for the prom.

Eligibility

Students residing in the US (except Maryland, Colorado, or Vermont), Puerto Rico, District of Columbia, and Canada (except Quebec) and is at least 14 years old. Individuals or couples may enter by creating and wearing original and complete prom attire and accessories from duck tape to their prom. Photos are required. Previous finalists from this contest are ineligible.

Selection Criteria

• Workmanship
• Originality
• The use of color
• Accessories
• The use of Duck Brand duct tape
• Judges and public voting will determine the final winners*

*In the event of a tie, contestants must write an answer to a tie-breaker question, e.g. “How do you plan to use Duck Brand duct tape in college?” Answers cannot be more than 150 words long and will be judged on originality and creativity.

Award Amount

$1,000 to $10,000; categories vary.
