Description:

This Scholarship is awarded to a female wishing to complete flight training. The award is given annually and is non-renewable. Funds will be paid directly to the recipient and must be used within one year of the award.

Eligibility Requirements:

The recipient of the AOPA Student Pilot Scholarship will be chosen based on merit, including previous accomplishments, ability to set and achieve goals, involvement in general aviation, and commitment to completing flight training. All scholarships, unless otherwise noted, will be awarded at the 30th Annual International Women in Aviation Conference at the Long Beach Convention Center March 14-16, 2019 in Long Beach, California. Attendance at the conference is not required to receive a scholarship, but it is encouraged.
