JSU Alabama Faculty Scholarship
Description:
The faculty scholarship is for in-state students with a composite ACT score between 26-29 or SAT reading and math score of 1190-1330. The award is renewable for 4 years, up to 128 hours. It is the student’s responsibility to notify the JSU Scholarship Office if you score higher. If you qualify for a higher academic scholarship you have to forfeit the lower of the two. Students are considered “in-state” if they meet the following criteria: Alabama resident or a resident of one of the following Georgia counties: Bartow, Carroll, Chattooga, Coweta, Douglas, Floyd, Haralson, Heard, Paulding, Polk (Documentation may be required), Alabama high school graduate or Georgia high school graduate from one of the previously listed counties, entering freshman, unconditionally accepted and U.S. citizen. Official test scores must be on file at JSU prior to the deadline.
