Eligibility

Applicants must be HS seniors or college freshmen or sophomores (age 20 or younger) who are residents of Georgia, Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia or West Virginia. Minimum GPA: 3.0 for HS students, 2.75 for college students. Applicants must NOT be participating in intercollegiate athletics on any scholarship prior to or during award term.

Selection Criteria

• Financial need
• Future goals and plans to achieve them
• Self-motivation in meeting challenging goals
• Successful preparation for college
• Must NOT be pursuing an online-only degree; the student must attend a “brick and mortar” university with an organized student body, regular activities, etc.

Award Amount

Varies: $500 to $5,000; scholarship may be renewable
