Description

This scholarship exists to support students in Georgia pursuing a degree in teaching.

Eligibility

• Must be a full-time junior or senior at a public Georgia college or university.
• Must be admitted to school’s college or department of education.
• Must have a GPA of 3.25 or higher.
• Must be a resident of Georgia
• Must be a US citizen or permanent resident alien
• Must be in compliance with Selective Service requirements
• Must not be in default on student financial aid

Selection Criteria

• Must be nominated by an eligible college or university (one student per year)
• GPA
• Written essay
• Financial Need (tie breaker)
