Metro Atlanta YMCAs

The YMCA of Metro Atlanta is an association of volunteers, members, and staff, open to and serving all, with programs and services which build spirit, mind, and body. The Y's main areas of focus include nurturing the potential of every child and teen through educational programs and programs that foster personal growth and awareness, improving the nation's health and well-being, and giving back and providing support to our neighbors. You can learn more about the impact of the YMCA by clicking the link or viewing the video below.

Year-to-date, we have given $600 to Metro Atlanta YMCAs.

When smart, precious Michael Warechowski was having trouble learning to walk at age 2, his parents, Marietta residents Katie and Mike Warechowski, were devastated to learn their only son has a fatal degenerative condition called Metachromatic Leukodystrophy (MLD). Since then, their lives have drastically changed, but their love and adoration for Michael has only multiplied.

Join us in raising support for Michael's staggering medical bills, so we can bless this family as much as possible during the time they have together. The event will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2017 from 9 AM - 1 PM at Mount Paran Christian School at 1275 Stanley Rd NW, Kennesaw, Georgia 30152.

100% of proceeds from this untimed race will go to Michael Warechowski. You can register on race morning or online at bit.ly/milesformikey
